We specialize in a power yoga practice that will tone and strengthen your body. Each class starts with a warm-up, moves through a sequence of poses connected by breath, and finishes with a cool down and Savasana. We also offer Yin/Restorative, prenatal classes, and Crystal Bowl Sound Journeys. Beginners, pregnant folks, and students with current or past injuries are all welcome! Instructors will offer modifications and assistance, so all levels feel welcome and supported. LOCATION We offer two convenient neighborhood locations in Oakland (Grand Ave and Laurel), as well as several outdoor locations in the Bay area. ABOUT THE STUDIO Rachel Rajput founded Left Coast Power Yoga in 2013 to bring a challenging, heated Power Yoga studio to the Oakland community. It started in the original small space on Grand Avenue and expanded to our second location (Laurel) to reach even more yoga students and expand our community! At Left Coast, we are a beautiful community of misfits. Our community spans all sizes, shapes, colors, and genders. We are working folks: 9 to 5-ers, self-employed peeps, techies, soccer moms, gig workers, waitresses, teachers, and just about everything else you can think of. We have one thing in common: we are lifelong learners of the yoga practice.
